February 1, Stony Point pushes its way through Georgetown in the fourth quarter to pull off a win. At the start of the fourth quarter Georgetown had a comfortable 41 to 33 lead and had dominated both the second and third quarters only allowing SP 21 point between the two quarters. Going into the fourth things didn't look good for SP their defense was struggling and offensively they just were not putting things together.
With all that said it didn't deter SP from coming out with the best effort of the night holding Georgetown to only 14 points and scoring 23 of their own. We also have to recognize the defensive effort SP put together in the first holding Georgetown to only 2 points the lowest out put this season by any team. Offensively SP's Joel Devastey had a good effort scoring 14 points and helping his team pull off this win. The High score for the night was Georgetown's Sr Logan Webb who scored 25 points in a losing effort.
