This match up looked to be the best match up in Region II, with Georgetown having the slight advantage statistically. Georgetown also had three defenders senior Logan Webb 6'5", junior Casey Heller 6'5" and junior Joe Hauser 6'6" that would have the height advantage over Bowie forward Connor Robinson making it difficult for Robinson to score under the basket. That being said they were unable to keep Robinson from causing damage finishing with 24 points.
Making it a little easier for Robinson were junior Mo Isom who dropped 13 points of his own along with senior Jacob Varela who contributed 14. Guard Paul Baxter had a good night distributing the ball well and scoring 11 points of his own. This has to be one of Bowie's best team efforts this season and it could not have come at a better time. If they continue to play this way and they continue to get this type of contribution from Isom and Varela they may just surprise a few teams and work their way through the playoffs.
