Austin High vs Westlake

February 15, with the district title rapped up this game was just a formality for the Maroons.  With the playoffs just around the corner they wanted to make sure that no one was injured.  The Chaps did what they could in the game but were just over matched by an Austin High team that is playing at a different level now. 

With McClellan, Robbins, and Reinking playing on all cylinders the Maroons held the Westlake offense to only 41 points, while the Maroons big three scored 43 of the 71 point for the game.

The big game in this district was happening on the South Side between the Bowie Bulldogs and the Akins Eagles.  The winner taking second place and getting an easier start in the playoffs.  With this district all but rapped up there just waiting for the Williamson County 5A district to finish up.  The playoff will start next week and we look forward to a great run for the Austin High Maroons.
