Congratulations to Joel Devastey a 2011 graduate of Stony Point High School who will be joining the Leopards of Temple College in the fall of 2011. Joel played on several AAU teams including the ATX Boys coached by Jake Varela and the Austin Ice coached by retired Spur Johnny Moore.With his 6'7 frame and his ability to shoot the short range jumper Joel should make a quick impact at Temple. We have watched Joel for several years and have watched him develop into an excellent shooter and a good defender. We wish Joel lots of luck in 2011 and look forward to some great things from him at Temple.
